Chanukah is the festival which symbolizes the lights but this does not mean that the meaning of this word Chanukah is light. This festival is known as the festival of lights in all over the world. This is a Jewish festival which has its own place and is celebrated with a lot of excitement every year. Exchanging of the chanukkah gifts and wearing new clothes are the two most popular activities if this festival.

The association of these eight days holiday also based on it that on which day and Chanukah will be celebrated and scheming through that the holiday are determined. Usually it is supposed that Chanukah happen on the 25th day of Kislev every year but this is not fixed and lasting. As per the Hebrew calendar, the third month of the church calendar is Kislev and it is also known that Kislev is the ninth month of the social calendar. Each and every Jewish holiday is based on the Hebrew calendar and not on the Gregorian calendar as it is the other non-Jewish holiday celebration. Therefore, there’s a smooth fluid across the month of November to January in which anytime this festival can occur, as stated above also.
